No Longer Rejected is an inspirational narrative that also integrates Biblical stories that encourage today’s woman to overcome rejection and the bondage it creates. As rejection continues to plague more and more women, No Longer Rejected shares heartfelt, personal stories of rejection from the author, along with connecting the reader to women in the Bible who overcame similar feelings and emotions, in order to encourage us today that rejection does not have to win.
From a young age, little girls learn what is expected of them and how to achieve that expectation. Perceived failure to meet that expectation leads to the painful feeling of rejection. Rejection then takes many forms and comes through many faces. Whether from family members or teachers and coaches or peers in the classroom or love interests, rejected girls become rejected young adults become rejected women. Rejection, much like bitterness, is a seed that once it takes root, it spreads its negative emotions and behaviors in other facets of life. It impacts decisions and life-choices. It steers clear of emotional intimacy and rears its head at the first slight or offense.
In No Longer Rejected: A Woman’s Journey from Rejection to Freedom, author Janice Broyles highlights several aspects of rejection and takes a look at what it means to be rejected and how isolating it can be. Through inspirational narrative and a study of Biblical accounts of women, connections will be drawn from one circumstance to the next. Women who have experienced heart-wrenching, agonizing rejection, will be discussed, along with how God proved to be ever-faithful in every situation.

Excerpts from No Longer Rejected
“Rejection and inadequacy were never a part of God’s initial design, and throughout Scripture, story after story highlights a loving God reaching for His people, reminding them that in His arms contentment, peace, and faithfulness are waiting.”
“We can take rejection and bury it deep, allowing it to take root and grow into the vicious cycle of negative emotions, or we can lean on our Heavenly Father and give it to Him.”
